In the next version of POS:

New

• When copying a recipe's ingredient order to the other sizes, the button now names the size it is copying from.

Fixes

• Modifier rules that hide options now work on terminals set up from a copied menu. Before this, an order could reach a screen with nothing on it and then refuse to take payment.
• The modifier rule editor now shows the options a rule already hides. They appeared unticked, so saving the modifier quietly cleared the rule.
• The button for copying a recipe's ingredient order now says why it is unavailable instead of being greyed out with no reason, and no longer claims a size is empty when it has shared ingredients.

In the next version of POS:

New

• A modifier can now be set to hide others when it is chosen, so a cold sandwich stops offering grilled toppings.
• A recipe's ingredient order can now be copied from one size to all the other sizes.

Fixes

• Split Pay now opens already divided between the guests on the order, with their names filled in, instead of asking for them again.
• Items can now be dragged onto guests that are off the edge of the screen.

In the next version of POS:

New

• Reports now show the store name in the header.

Fixes

• Combo bundles can be added to a regular menu again, not just bundle-flow screens.
• Combo meals now show the right quantity on the full order display. A combo added 25 times was showing 1.
• Combo meals no longer stop on a step that has only one option. They finish on their own.
• Reporting an issue now uses the keyboard built into the screen instead of the Windows one.
• Typing an exact color code now applies it when you press Enter.
• An update no longer undoes itself when the terminal is still starting up.

Menu Setup fixes for the menu build. Pages that were cut off with no scrollbar now scroll. Editing an ingredient and saving keeps your place in the list and highlights the row you just saved, so a bulk cleanup pass does not lose its position. Migrated ingredient categories no longer show raw ids. Order entry now blocks checkout on any incomplete line in the cart, not just the open one, and includes the suggestive selling work.

Error reporting is fixed. Crash and error reports were being blocked before they ever left the terminal, so none of them reached us and we were blind to problems in the field. This release unblocks them, including session replay.

Release channels are now end to end. A release can be published to a single channel (dev, beta or production), and a tested build can be promoted from one channel to the next without rebuilding, so what reaches production is exactly what was tested. A store gets only the release assigned to its channel.

Also in this build: the installer now pulls the right version for the store channel instead of the old feed, and the remote support agent retries within a minute instead of an hour when a report fails, so a freshly installed terminal shows up right away.
